A typical engagement

What the first ninety days look like

A twelve-employee HVAC contractor in Beech Grove came to us in March 2024 with nine months of uncategorised transactions and an overdue state notice.

  • Weeks 1–2: statements gathered, ledger rebuilt from January of the prior year, duplicate deposits removed.
  • Weeks 3–6: both trading years reconciled, the state notice answered with supporting schedules, payroll filings brought current.
  • Weeks 7–12: job costing switched on, a normal monthly close established, first quarterly review held.
  • Outcome: monthly close now completed by the eighth of each month, and two loss-making service lines were repriced.
