1. Agreement

These terms govern your use of https://demoforclient.site and, where applicable, the professional services provided by Crossroads Ledger LLC. Using this website means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. The services we provide

We provide bookkeeping, payroll processing, business and personal tax preparation, catch-up accounting work and advisory services. Each client engagement is governed by a separate written engagement letter that sets out scope, fees, responsibilities and duration. Where these terms conflict with a signed engagement letter, the engagement letter prevails.

3. What we are not

Crossroads Ledger LLC is not a licensed CPA firm, a law firm, a registered investment adviser or an insurance broker. We do not perform audits, reviews or attestation engagements, and we do not provide legal or investment advice. Content on this website is general information, not advice about your particular circumstances.

4. Client responsibilities

• Provide complete and accurate records within the timeframes agreed in the engagement letter.
• Review the reports and returns we prepare and tell us promptly about anything that looks wrong.
• Maintain the underlying source documents; we keep working copies, not your statutory records.
• Approve payroll and tax filings before submission where approval is requested.

We rely on the information you provide. We are not responsible for consequences arising from records that are incomplete, inaccurate or delivered late.

5. Fees and billing

Monthly fees are billed in advance on the first business day of the month by ACH debit or card. Project work is invoiced on completion unless agreed otherwise. Invoices are due within 14 days. Accounts more than 30 days overdue may be suspended after written notice, and a late fee of 1.5% per month may be applied where permitted by Indiana law.

6. Term and cancellation

Monthly engagements continue until cancelled by either party with 30 days' written notice. On termination we complete the current billing period, export your accounting file and deliver it within ten business days at no additional charge. See the Refund Policy for refunds of prepaid amounts.

7. Confidentiality

We treat all client information as confidential and disclose it only as described in our Privacy Policy, as instructed by you in writing, or as required by law.

8. Intellectual property

The text, design, layout, logo and graphics on this website belong to Crossroads Ledger LLC and may not be copied, republished or used commercially without written permission. Templates and working papers we create remain our property; the finished deliverables and your accounting data belong to you.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to attempt unauthorised access to the site or its servers, introduce malicious code, scrape content in bulk, or use the site in a way that interferes with other users.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by Indiana law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the services is limited to the fees paid by you to us during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, including lost profits. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms or from information you supplied that was materially inaccurate or incomplete.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States. The state and federal courts located in Marion County, Indiana have exclusive jurisdiction. Before starting proceedings, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith for at least 30 days.

13. Changes

We may update these terms; the revised version takes effect when published on this page. Continued use of the site after publication constitutes acceptance.
